Euromelanoma Campaign 2017
Once again, on April 20th, the Euromelanoma campaign began and runs until June 2nd. Anyone who wishes to do so can make an appointment to have their moles and skin checked free of charge by their nearest dermatologist in order to detect lesions that may be cancerous. To do so, simply make an appointment by calling or calling 91 543 45 35.
Euromelanoma is a European-wide campaign that aims to provide information on prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer.
According to the AEDV, skin cancer is the most common cancer in people over 50 years of age. However, more and more cases are being diagnosed in young people due to unhealthy habits of intense sun exposure for short periods.
The skin is the most visible human organ and one of the most important, it is responsible for communicating sensations, expressions… taking care of it is therefore more than an act of health, it is an act of responsibility of each person with their body.
